As input BioProfiling.de accepts several types of gene or protein identifiers (one ID per line).
For example, for the human genome R Spider supports identifiers:
Entrez Gene,
UniProt/Swiss-Prot,
HUGO Gene Symbol,
UniGene,
Ensembl,
RefSeq Protein ID,
RefSeq Transcript ID, and most
Affymetrix probe codes.
